Travel by road

NEPO is easily accessible by road from the A1, the Felling bypass, Newcastle city centre and Gateshead Highway.

Satellite navigation will take you to the front of the building, but our car park is at the rear. To go straight there, use what3words: both.movie.obey 

Google Maps: Search for NEPO and you’ll be directed to the Northern Design Centre where NEPO is based. The Google Maps pin is set to take you directly to our free car park. You can park free of charge in visitor spaces which are marked with a 'V'.

If the Northern Design Centre car park is full, there are two public car parks nearby:

Travel by bus

Go North East services 93 and 94 stop on Hawks Road, close to the Northern Design Centre. Additional routes serve Gateshead Interchange, located around a 15-minute walk away.

Travel by rail

The nearest train station is Newcastle Central Station, a 15 minutes’ walk away.

Travel by Metro

NEPO is walking distance from Newcastle Central Station, Gateshead Metro Interchange and Manors metro stations.
