The nationally available Vehicle Rental solution is available as a result of NEPO's strategic partnership with The Procurement Partnership Ltd (TPPL).
The solution provides NEPO Member Authorities and Associate Members with access to competitive, compliant pricing from numerous suppliers on a wide range of vehicles. Vehicle rental bookings and pricing enquiries can be made via an online system, offering ease and efficiency to end-users.
The solution covers the following Lots:
- Lot 1: Hire of Passenger Cars
- Lot 2: Hire of Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) up to 3.5t
- Lot 3: Hire of Medium Commercial Vehicles (MCVs) 3.5t up to 12.5t
- Lot 4: Hire of Welfare Buses and Coaches between 5 and 72 seats
- Lot 5: Hire of Sweepers up to 18.5t
- Lot 6: Hire of Heavy Goods Vehicles (HGVs) up to 44t
Members will primarily issue Call-Off Contracts on a Direct Award basis using the participating supplier(s)' price list and the specification to identify which vehicle(s) they wish to hire with this information available from the online platform.
Mini competitions can be carried out for bespoke long-term higher volume proposals, where specific mini tender documents can be tailored to incorporate quality elements for evaluation.
