Green Paper: Transforming public procurement
The Cabinet Office has published its response to the consultation process on the Green Paper: Transforming public procurement and elaborated on plans for how public procurement will be transformed.
The overarching goals of the proposals are to speed up and simplify procurement processes, place value for money at their heart, generate social value and unleash opportunities for small businesses, charities and social enterprises to innovate in public service delivery.
The Cabinet Office is holding two online events to provide contracting authorities, suppliers and other interested parties with further information on what the changes mean and give the opportunity to raise questions.
