Procurement Workshops from Durham County Council

Durham County Council’s procurement team are holding three Procurement Workshops in April / May, to offer potential suppliers and providers an opportunity to learn more about the procurement process and gain valuable insights on how to find out about tender opportunities, how to bid effectively for them, and how we pick the winners.

The sessions are completely free of charge and delivered by experienced Procurement Officers.

All potential suppliers are welcome to sign up, from local small businesses and voluntary groups to larger regional or national organisations. Please note that we can take up to two people per organisation.

The three sessions are as follows:

Session 1: Procurement Overview and Lower Value Contracts Date: Wednesday 27th April 2016 Time: 1.30pm – 4 pm

Session 2: Higher Value Procurements Date: Tuesday 3rd May 2016 Time: 1.30pm – 4.30pm

Session 3: Sustainable Procurement and Social Value Date: Friday 6th May 2016 Time: 1.30pm – 4 pm

All three sessions take place at the Durham Leadership Centre, Spennymoor, County Durham.

Full details of the programme, and how to sign up, are given in the attached flyer.
