North Tyneside Council - Supporting People to Live at Home

North Tyneside Council are planning to go out to tender for Supporting People to Live at Home contract, this will include a mix of short and long term interventions that enable a person to live an independent life, remain in their own home and fully engage in their community.

A draft timeline for the tender exercise is attached for guidance this is subject to change.

All interested suppliers are invited to attend the supplier event  taking  place  on the 4th September at the Langdale Centre Howdon NE28 OHG from 9am -12pm.

The event will include a presentation from senior Adult Social Care Council officers on the Procurement Strategy for this contract.  This will include the changes that will be made to current service provision therefore it is highly recommended that prospective providers attend.  A representative from the Council’s safeguarding team will be present to advise on completing the tender documents with regard to safeguarding and representatives from Cofely the Council’s business partner will be there to advise on the Procurement process and the health and safety element of the pre qualification questionnaire.

There will be an opportunity to discuss your opinions as a key service provider in the market and to influence the tender strategy including the potential to set a fixed hourly rate.
